Late Night Musings

Words are representations of energy. Change the words and you can change the energy behind your make up and influence your world. This is the key to existence. Yes, there is some destiny involved in living, but I believe that 50% is the creative application of the forces at hand. One must learn to employ the positive representation of all disposable energies in order to move up through the higher vibrations. The highest of them being pure light and love. This is the goal to be achieved within the living body where things are much more dense, thick and more challenging to turn to light. But the more you learn to work with this sort of energy, the more magical your life will appear. You then become co-creators with spirit to enable the highest good of all concerned. This is where life appears magical. This is where life is joyful, blissful, full of serenity, joy and love. This is the goal of all.

Cabo San Lucas, December 2009

I was in Cabo San Lucaaaaas earlier this month!!! By far one of my most exciting experiences is communing with large felines. Perhaps it is because I was born under the sign of Leo, perhaps it is because they are just so darn adorable, but I have a weakness for cats in general. This little Mexican, 3 month old lion cub was so friendly and playful that I fell in love instantly. What a treat it was to have held and petted him. I was in heaven!

Wow!!! I’m in Antarcticaaaaa!!!!!

Two days ago we were in Elephant Island, the historic island where Shackelton and his men were stranded. We saw Gentoo Penguins surfing on the icebergs. Yesterday we passed through Paradise Bay, home of towering vistas, mammoth glaciers, monumental aqua blue icebergs and Adelie Penguins waving from the shorelines. We were all just in AWE of the unique and spectacular beauty.

I have been in the Chilean, Norwegian, Alaskan and Greenland Fjords, yet nothing, I repeat NOTHING IS LIKE WHAT YOU SEE IN ANTARCTICA. WOW!!!!!!! And the wildlife!!! Whales everywhere, penguins swimming (or jumping happily as they do) in the water or on sandy or icy beaches, sea lions, elephant seals, albatross.

Today we came into Deception Island where we sailed (sailed!) into the active (ACTIVE!!) volcano which makes the waters warm and inviting enough that you can actually take a warm bath in these Antarctic waters!! And then the largest colony of Chinstrap penguins!!! Simply magnificent. Neither words nor pictures describe the incredible spectrum and majesty of what my Spanish friend, Emely and I have experienced on this incomparable and unforgettable trip.
